For Trayvon Benjamin Martin,                                                                                                                                                                                        When I write this many may not agree with the theory. But here goes. People should be outraged anytime any child dies not matter what color or their ethnicity. When we hear about a newborn dying with a parent who is intoxicated as often as a someones child gunned down in our streets. Sadly blacks kill each other at alarming rate. How many black men have died since Trayvon Martin? by the hands of another black man. Where is the leadership? Concern? Outrage? So many mothers have buried their sons and I for one am astounded. When we name cities  Chiraq, Kilwaukee, Detoliet ~ something is wrong, painfully wrong. About a month ago a young mother who was upset with the father of her 7 day old child; lifted him over her head and threw him to the floor, killing him. The 6+ people killed in my city, and the numerous people across the nation who were killed last week.  Outraged you bet I am and there is NO excuse for this type of shit. Furthermore we need to empower ourselves with choices that reflect our values(Hopefully ).                                                                                     Challenge yourselves to this~~~~ Spend time with your family instilling some values of how valuable ALL our children really are to you and your community. PEOPLE WE MUST DO BETTER                                                                                                                                                                             Take a stand  in your corner of the earth claim  it! We can never restore the lives of those we have lost to senseless violence, regardless of the perpetrator. But I do believe if we can stop these,debilitate the self- defeating actions in our community YES Black on Black Crime. We can send a message to the nation that all our children are of great importance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           So when Brother Gil sings peace go with you brother,  We hear it as a mantra for self-respect and responsibility ----- not as a tearful farewell
